Chimony Wild life sanctuary
This Photo was taken during the trek last week in the western ghats in Kerala, South India.
It was a day long trek and this photo was taken just before we reached the summit. The atmosphere was so beautiful that its hard to descibe it in words.
This place along with lots of other forest reserves in Kerala is home to lot of tribal people and The government is doing a very good job of providing them with employement in an eco freindly manner.
The whole program was arranged by the govt with the help of the tribals and govt helps the tribals by providing treking equipments, tents, etc.. The tribals are not paid salary but they get 90% of the money that we trekkers pay for the program.
